Founding partners, John Mackenzie and Tony Conway established Clear Waters Financial Planning in 2012.
The business principles of the Clear Waters Financial Planning team stems from a deep and rich history going back to 1993. Many of our clients have been with us for decades, which is a true reflection of the consistent ongoing service offering provided. This loyalty both to and from our clients has been the hallmark of our business from its inception.
Tony and John held a vision of a client focused business with the following question being at the forefront of any advice decisions, “is my advice in the best interest of the client”? If the answer was “no”, then it would simply not be permitted. This thought process remains ingrained in our ethos and is at the heart of our everyday advice practice.
Tony and John have always aspired to maintain a local leadership group for Clear Waters and on Tony’s retirement in June 2016, Rhian Applewaite became a business partner with John. Rhian has been a part of Clear Waters Financial Planning since prior to its inception in 2011.
Over the many years of being in business Clear Waters has a proven record of delivering client focused outcomes by implementing the processes and procedures that now reflect current day best practice operations within the industry. A lot of these practices are now enshrined in government legislation. A key business decision made in 2000 was the removal of commission payments from investment product providers. Many years later these types of commission-based investment options have now been banned by the government.
Clear Waters Financial Planning maintains a simple commitment. We remain focused on providing a customer centric service to help achieve you and your family’s goals and objectives. This is consistently achieved by our service offering that is built upon developing a relationship with our clients to provide them with ongoing financial advice.
